## Buy Games, Join Game Pass, and Redeem Perks Right in the Xbox App
We’ve got some big news that many Xbox fans have been eager to hear. Soon, you’ll be able to buy games and add-ons, join Game Pass, and redeem Perks directly from the Xbox mobile app. Pre-order the likes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, and set it to automatically install on your Xbox from the app. Get games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows or MLB The Show 25 effortlessly. Joining Game Pass through the app is also on the table. Plus, if you’re an Ultimate member, you’ll have the chance to redeem Perks such as the Sea of Thieves Seventh Serving Emote straight from your phone.
This feature will initially roll out to beta users on iOS and Android, with a broader release soon on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.
If you already have a payment method saved, the app will feature a Buy button on the game detail pages, making it a breeze to purchase games and add-ons with just a couple of clicks.
## Stream Your Own Game – Now on Xbox Consoles
Starting today, Game Pass Ultimate members have the option to stream select games they own, along with the Game Pass catalog, on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. This expands beyond the previously announced devices, such as Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, Meta Quest headsets, and other browser-supported gadgets like PCs, smartphones, and tablets. You’ll save both time and hard drive space by streaming games straight away without needing to download and install them first.
To kick off streaming on your Xbox console, head over to My games & apps > Full library > Owned Games.
Games ready to play via the cloud will have a cloud badge on their listing. Use filters to locate games quickly by choosing Filter > Ready to play > Cloud gaming.
To stream a game, just select it and tap on Play with Cloud Gaming. You can also start streaming directly after purchasing select cloud-ready games from the Store app.

## Access Xbox Remote Play From More Devices
You can now play any game installed on your console by going to xbox.com/remoteplay on any device with a supported web browser. While Xbox remote play won’t be directly accessible through the Xbox mobile app anymore, you’ll still be able to engage from your mobile’s browser.
On top of that, Xbox remote play is expanding to more devices including supported Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, and Meta Quest headsets.
By bringing together Xbox remote play and Xbox Cloud Gaming on Xbox.com, we can extend support to more devices, bring store access to the Xbox app on mobile, and make streaming smoother while also paving the way for new features.
As a cool bonus, you’ll soon be able to stream backward-compatible games from the original Xbox and Xbox 360 via remote play on all supported devices.
## Free Up Space in My Games & Apps
Today’s update introduces a new way to free up space on any Xbox console. In addition to handy hints about unused add-ons or shrinkable games, we’re now including suggestions for removing duplicate game copies or titles you no longer have access to. Give this feature a try by visiting My Games & Apps > Manage > Free up space.
## Game Hubs
Xbox consoles now bring you new game hubs filled with everything you need to know about a game, including player stats, achievements, which friends are playing, recent captures, available add-ons, events, and more.
For some users, game hubs will pop up whenever you select a recently played or installed game. By default, it focuses on the Play button, letting you dive straight into the game with just a couple of taps.
There’s also a new setting now to let you launch games directly instead of via game hubs. Activate it by heading over to personalization settings or to My games & apps > Manage > Games & apps.
## Xbox Consoles – South of Midnight Dynamic Background
