At the heart of the game, players step into the shoes of Haroona, a Quaestor with the unique gift of accessing a mysterious realm intertwined with our own, called the Fold. As she embarks on a quest for hidden, powerful knowledge, Haroona learns to wield her connection to the Fold, channeling its abilities into her world. But power like this catches attention, and soon she finds herself targeted by a splinter group known as the Ascendants, who seek to use the Fold to reshape human history.
