A creative Pokemon enthusiast has recently introduced a new Ghost-type evolution for Eevee, giving fans a delightful new variant to admire. Drawing inspiration from Egyptian themes, this fresh Eeveelution highlights the incredible talent present within the Pokemon community, showcasing their knack for inventing unique forms of beloved franchise creatures.
Eevee, making its debut in the first generation of Pokemon games, has long been one of the favorites among fans. Its charm comes not only from its cute appearance but also from its ability to evolve into eight different forms over the years, distinguishing it from other Pokemon. However, it has been a while since Eevee received a new evolution. The last addition was the Fairy-type Sylveon, introduced in Generation 6 back in 2013. This has left fans eagerly waiting over a decade for a fresh evolution of the beloved Pokemon.
Recently, a Pokemon fan known as Patient-Ambition9826 shared their latest creation—a Ghost-type Eeveelution themed around Egyptian mythology. Named Anubeon, this imaginative Pokemon resembles a small cat with the head of Anubis, glowing yellow eyes, dark blue skin, and a tail designed like an ankh. The fan art also features a shiny version where Anubeon’s head is dark blue and its body turns grey. Patient-Ambition9826 also has plans for a Ground-type Eeveelution inspired by Egyptian elements in the future.
Fan-made Eeveelutions have been capturing the imaginations of Pokemon enthusiasts for years. Ghost-type evolutions, in particular, have gained popularity recently. Just earlier this month, another creative fan introduced a genie-inspired Ghost-type Eeveelution called Mischeveon, designed like a purple cat adorned in genie attire.
While many Ghost-type Eeveelutions take inspiration from classic ghostly figures, there have been innovative interpretations as well. One fan crafted Halluceon, a Ghost-type Eeveelution depicted as a slender, pale creature with a skull helmet, long ears, and a purple orb instead of a neck. Another fan artist brought to life a charming creature named Ghouleon, which took the form of a cat with white, grey, and blue fur, a smoke-like ghostly tail, deep blue eyes, and long whiskers. This design was particularly popular among the community at the time.
Fans are hopeful that one day Nintendo will introduce an official Ghost-type Eeveelution. Such an addition would surely spark excitement as fans compare it to the many inventive designs dreamt up by the Pokemon fan community.
