With the echoes of Unova still lingering, trainers can start gearing up for the next big weekend in Pokémon Go, which aligns beautifully with the approach of summer.
This year’s Pokémon Go Fest is making its grand return in June with an exciting lineup of events. Kicking off in Osaka, Japan, from May 29 to June 1, the festivities will then travel to Jersey City, NJ, from June 6 to 8, and finally to Paris, France, between June 13 and 15. Once the in-person events wrap up, a global event will take place on June 28 and 29. If you’re eager to jump into the action, tickets for these live events are already up for grabs. Additionally, a $15 ticket provides access to the global event, offering exclusive gameplay moments, such as a thrilling encounter with the mythical Pokémon Volcanion. For everyone joining in, expect to meet the “crowned” versions of Zacian and Zamazenta, the distinguished mascots from Pokémon Sword and Shield.
For those keen on a head start, if you grab the global ticket by April 15 and log into the game anytime between April 8 and 15, you’ll unlock a special research story. This feature includes an encounter with Skiddo, a Pokémon previously only available during specific “City Safari” live gatherings that have been sparsely organized in selected cities since the tail-end of 2023.
