Coming off the chaos of last week, we find ourselves edging back into the typical rhythm on the Switch OG. Despite the madness, some things slipped past us, such as Namco’s Assault Plus in the Archives.

Reflecting on last week is like peering into a whirlwind of events, marked by the surreal "OK, so THAT happened" moments. Between the Switch 2 Direct and the ensuing pandemonium, it felt like we’d been thrown through a loop. Now, in contrast, a week of eShop releases seems almost relaxing. Yet, there are a few gems to keep an eye on. One standout is Star Overdrive, the hovercraft-centric game that was given a brief spotlight during a Direct. It’s hard to believe that was just a week and a half ago; it already feels much longer. Also coming this week is Battlefield Waltz from Idea Factory/Otomate. Take note, we’re eagerly awaiting any news on day-one patches for that release.

This week’s lineup also includes intriguing titles like "Promise Mascot Agency" and another installment of Snow Bros. The weekly EggConsole game is a straightforward maze challenge from 1983, which means Pyramid Warp should be easy to pick up for those who are outside Japan.
