Nintendo has announced that tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation, focusing on the Nintendo Switch 2, is slated to run for about an hour on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Last month, Nintendo officially unveiled the Nintendo Switch 2, putting an end to the swirling rumors and supposed leaks about the much-anticipated follow-up to their hybrid home console.
In a brief teaser video, the console’s design was revealed, along with a sneak peek at a new Mario Kart title. The video also confirmed that the new hardware would be compatible with games from the original Switch.
Nintendo has elaborated that the Switch 2 will support both physical and digital games from its predecessor. However, they’ve noted that not all existing Switch titles may work perfectly or at all with the new system.
The global release of the Nintendo Switch 2 is set for 2025, although the exact launch date is still under wraps.
