Last week, Steam’s top game was the newly released Early Access title, Schedule 1, which took the gaming community by storm. Launched on March 24th, this crime-themed game, crafted by TVGS, instantly climbed to the top of the charts. It’s set to remain in Early Access for a couple of years, promising ongoing updates and enhancements. Schedule 1 managed to edge out Valve’s Counter-Strike 2, which had to content itself with the second position.
Another noteworthy debut was Inzoi, a competitor to The Sims. Positioned as the third highest-grossing game of the week, it marks another promising release from Krafton, indicating strong initial interest. Meanwhile, the co-op horror game, REPO, slipped a spot to fourth place compared to the previous week, but still managed to outpace the new action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan, by Neople. This latest entry into the popular Dungeon Fighter Online franchise is making waves, especially among its vast Asian fanbase.
On the hardware front, Valve’s handheld gaming console, the Steam Deck, saw a slight decline, moving back to sixth place. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows experienced a notable drop, falling five ranks to seventh in its second week. Additionally, Split Fiction from Hazelight and EA saw a four-spot decrease, settling at eighth.
Similarly, Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds fell three places, picking up the ninth spot, while Apex Legends made a comeback, rounding out the Top Ten for the week.
