Nintendo has rolled out a fresh new app for smart devices called Nintendo Today, which serves as a sort of daily calendar for all things Nintendo.
Each day, the app will bring you the latest updates, including news, videos, and even comics featuring your favorite Nintendo games and beloved characters from select franchises.
Following the highly anticipated Nintendo Direct presentation about the Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for Wednesday, April 2nd, you’ll be able to catch all the details about this exciting new console right through the app.
Shigeru Miyamoto, the legendary game designer, shared some insights, saying, "Since 2011, Nintendo Direct has been our way of delivering news ‘directly’ to you. Over the years, these presentations have turned into a must-watch event for many fans. We really appreciate everyone tuning in."
He added, "While we will keep up with the Nintendo Direct presentations, we’re also introducing a new channel dedicated to bringing information directly to you. This comes in the form of a smart device app called Nintendo Today. It operates like a daily calendar, giving you the lowdown on various Nintendo events. Plus, every day, you’ll receive a mix of content about Nintendo games and characters."
Miyamoto concluded by mentioning that once the Nintendo Direct for Nintendo Switch 2 wraps up on April 2nd, daily updates about the new system will be shared through the Nintendo Today app.
As for the app’s main features, here’s what you can expect:
