This week on the Nintendo Switch eShop, there’s a fresh lineup of classic SNES games, new tracks for music lovers, enticing sales, and a slew of new releases to explore.
Nintendo Switch Online continues to delight fans by adding four more retro titles from the renowned developer Koei. First off, we have Nobunaga’s Ambition and its sequel, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness. Released in ’93 and ’94, these games transport players to Japan’s Sengoku period, where you’ll be tasked with the challenge of uniting the lands through strategic battles.
Up next is the 1994 gem, Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV Wall of Fire. This title draws inspiration from the classic historical novel, immersing players in ancient China with its turn-based strategy gameplay.
Let’s not forget Uncharted Waters: New Horizons from 1993. This European adventure offers a sailing and trading experience as you embark on explorations during the Age of Discovery.
In other news, Nintendo’s Music app is expanding too, although somewhat peculiarly. This week’s update includes only a partial soundtrack from Kirby and the Forgotten Land, featuring 23 exciting tracks. Hopefully, the missing pieces of the soundtrack will debut soon.
Moving onto what’s next: the Nintendo Switch eShop is brimming with a range of new titles this week, such as Which Way Up: Galaxy Games. We recently had a chat with Turtle Flip Studio, the minds behind this game, which you can catch on last week’s episode of the Pure Nintendo Podcast. Stay tuned for our thorough review incoming!
That wraps up this week’s update from the eShop. So, which of these exciting titles has caught your eye? Let us know what you’ll be diving into this week!
