Nintendo Releases – March 27, 2025 – Update

Lately, my interactions with the eShop have been about as warm as an ice block, which is almost enough to lend them to a Wendy’s freezer.

As for what we overlooked last week, the highlight was Senkyu, a Match 3 puzzle title that slipped quietly into the archives. But, here’s a crucial heads-up: today marks the end of earning My Nintendo Gold coins from your purchases. If you’re picking up games through spots like the Humble Store or Best Buy, redeem those codes pronto, as they retain their full value, even on discounted items. If you’re wondering how to spend those gold coins this week, well, pickings are slim. The standout offerings include a Doraemon-flavored Picross game, a new entry in the Gal Guardians series (published by PQube), and a remaster of 1995’s classic PC adventure, I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream. Just thinking about that game takes me back to the demo my dad had from a PC Gamer disc that stubbornly refused to cooperate with our old computer.

With this being the last complete week of the fiscal quarter, the releases are coming rapid-fire. So much so, that I’ve only squeezed out about an hour and a half on Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive since launch. At this point, I’ll probably meet my original playtime target sometime around the universe’s end. Thanks for that, guys.
