There’s no way anyone could mistake the announcement of the Switch 2 Direct for an April Fool’s prank.
Nintendo has officially announced that the Switch 2 Direct will be broadcast on April 2nd, kicking off at 9 a.m. Eastern, 6 a.m. Pacific, 3 p.m. Central European time, and 11:00 Japan Standard Time. While they haven’t specified how long the presentation will be, fans are eagerly marking their calendars.
Just for some perspective, the last major Switch event—a live Nintendo press event—took place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan at 11 p.m. ET.
