To snag downloaded games, demos, or free software from the Nintendo eShop online, your Nintendo Account needs to be linked to your console. Make sure your console is set as the active device for downloads by visiting the Nintendo eShop from your device at least once. For downloads to happen automatically, your system needs to be up-to-date, connected to the internet, with automatic downloads enabled, and enough storage space available.
